Tutoring Approach

  • The first consultation meeting is free and is used to determine tutoring fit, identify target goals, and establish a rough plan.
Tutoring Teen2

  • Study guides/textbooks may be required. Loaner books may be available.
  • Homework may be given each session.
  • Record of each tutoring session is documented in student’s electronic OneNote tutoring notebook that is shared and editable by student, parent, and tutor.
  • Parents are welcome to attend session.  For in-person sessions, parent is requested to stay if tutoring is during a weekday.

Tutoring FAQs

  • WHERE: Tutoring can be via Zoom OR in-person at my home in Clear Lake, Texas area (must have no dog allergies).
  • WHEN: In general, tutoring is available during non-class times, including limited weeknight and weekend hours.
  • LENGTH: 1.5 hrs per session for at least 8 sessions.
    Note: No starting PSAT/SAT/ACT tutoring less than 2 months before the targeted test date.
  • COST: $75 per session ($50/hour) - See registration page for payment options and directions.
